Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili expressed sorrow over the death of Irakli Kvaratskhelia, Georgian citizen detained by de-facto Abkhazian authorities.
“The tragedy occurred in occupied Gali region is the continuation of the grave and difficult situation which we will not reconcile with. I express condolence to the family members and relatives and wish them endurance,” Zurabishvili said.
Irakli Kvaratskhelia, 29, committed suicide after he was detained by the de-facto Abkhazian authorities. The information about the suicide was released on March 12 by the State Security Service of Georgia.
