Preliminary results of elections published: Zurabishvili - 57.37%, Vashadze - 42.63%

The Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced the preliminary results of the second round of 2018 presidential election.

The results are as following: Salome Zurabishvili, an independent presidential candidate supported by the ruling Georgian Dream Party, received 262 826 votes (57.37%), Grigol Vashadze, the presidential candidate of the united opposition  – 195 305 (42.63%).

The second round of 2018 presidential elections was held in Georgia on November 28.
