PM Kobakhidze: Political forces systematically supplied people with pyrotechnics; these are preventive measures, not repression

“I cannot call this repression, these are more preventions than repressions,” the Prime Minister stated in response to a journalist’s question regarding opposition claims of repression.

When asked whether the young people in possession of pyrotechnics were affiliated with various opposition parties, the Prime Minister asserted that these individuals were systematically supplied with pyrotechnics by specific political forces.

“As for the connection, it is a fact, one thing is confirmed: people were systematically supplied with pyrotechnics and other means by the corresponding political forces, this is absolutely clear and lies right in front of us,” the Prime Minister stated.
