PM Kobakhidze: "Natsi-Maidan" to never occur in Georgia

“Natsi-Maidan (UNM-provoked) neither occurred in Georgia nor will it ever happen,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze asserted during the first government meeting.

Kobakhidze emphasized that this was evident during the events of this spring and is still true today.

“There was a coordinated and pre-planned effort involving foreign funding for its execution. This is precisely why some individuals opposed the adoption of the Transparency Law, enabling foreign financing of revolutionary activities in Georgia to remain concealed.

Over the past four years, we have observed three revolutionary attempts, all regrettably fueled by foreign funding. Such an approach toward our country is unacceptable. We are a proud nation, and we cherish our independence and sovereignty. We will diligently protect our sovereignty and independence until the very end. We will not permit anyone to undermine our autonomy through foreign interference,” the Prime Minister declared.
