Out of new COVID-19 cases, epidemiological study ongoing into one case

Out of the 9 new COVID-19 cases reported in Georgia, 4 cases are linked to Lenjeri (Mestia), 3 are imported, 1 is a medical personnel and epidemiological study is ongoing into one case – said Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases.

Also, according to Ezugbaia, the health condition of 6 patients infected with the virus remains critical.

Georgia reported 9 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infected people to 1 370, according to stopcov.ge, a special web-page created by the Georgian government.
