Out of 10 new COVID-19 cases, source of infection into 2 cases is unknown

Out of 10 new COVID-19 cases revealed in Georgia, the source of infection into 2 cases remains unknown – said Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases.

According to Ezugbaia, one case is connected to Lenjeri (Mestia), one – Kobuleti, one represents contact of already confirmed case, four are imported and one is a medical personnel.

Georgia reported 10 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infected people to 1 351, according to stopcov.ge, special web-page created by the Georgian government.

No information has been updated about recoveries in the last 24 hours. The total number of cured patients remains 1092.
