Otar Kakhidze on elections: Inevitable failure awaits government 

Otar Kakhidze, a member of the European Georgia party said: “the government wants to cling to power.”

Kakhidze noted that “if the government does so, this will challenge the society.”

Opposition member answered the question on MP Irakli Kobakhidze’s statement regarding the date of the elections. As MP said, “if the second wave of coronavirus hit Georgia, the elections may be scheduled for December.”

Kakhidze pointed out that he does not expect this scenario. He said, “whether it will be in September or November, the failure is inevitable.”
