One of the leaders of National Movement – Street Protests will continue
Launch of a dialog between the parties does not mean ending of street protests – Zaal Udumashvili, one of the leaders of National Movement Party said.
According to Udumashvili, protest will continue with organization of peaceful demonstrations including picketing of state institutions.
“Our demands remain unchanged and will continue to be so until we will reach the final goal – new elections, change of central election administration and release of political prisoners. The fact that a dialog was launched between the sides does not mean that street protests will end. We will not give this luxury to the government,” Udumashvili said.
The second meeting between representatives of Georgian Dream and oppositional parties was held at the residence of U.S Ambassador to Georgia. Kelly Degnan. U.S. Ambassador and Carl Hartzell, EU Ambassador to Georgia attended the meeting.
The first round of consultations with participation of foreign diplomats was held on November 12.
