Of 2 911 new coronavirus cases, Tbilisi records 1 056, Adjara - 476, Imereti - 469

Aleksandre Khojevanishvili, Head of the Task Force operating at the Inter-Agency Coordination Council on coronavirus has named the locations where 2 911 new coronavirus cases revealed in the past 24 hours.
The locations are as follows:
- Tbilisi – 1 056
- Adjara – 476
- Imereti – 469
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 294
- Kvemo Kartli – 201
- Shida Kartli – 134
- Samtskhe-Javakheti – 92
- Guria – 76
- Kakheti – 69
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 25
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 19
As of today, Georgia has 16 158. active coronavirus cases. In total, 631 coronavirus patients are in a serious state, of those, 308 have been put on artificial ventilation.
Georgia has reported 2 911 new coronavirus cases, 45 new deaths and 2 421 recoveries today.
In total, Georgia’s coronavirus cases increased to 66 561. The number of recovered patients reached 49 811. The virus-related death toll stands at 566.
