Nino Lomjaria has become Georgia’s Public Defender

Nino Lomjaria’s candidacy on Georgia’s Public Defender’s post has approved by the The Parliament of Georgia.

The legislative body voted for the two candidates – Nino Lomjaria and Giorgi Popkhadze at today’s sitting.

Before voting, lawmakers have listened to both candidates.

Nino Lomjaria will head the Public Defender”s Office for five years.
