MEP Kaljurand hopes next Georgian Public Defender to be approved transparently

European Parliament member Marina Kaljurand “thanks and recognizes” Nino Lomjaria for her “utmost dedication and sparing no effort to protect human rights, promote good governance, and strengthen the rule of law in Georgia.”

As today is the last day in the office of the Georgian Public Defender Nino Lomjaria, MEP Kaljurand hopes that the next Public Defender will be approved “transparently and swiftly in close cooperation with all stakeholders, including civil society, in order to continue the very important tasks of Public Defender in Georgia.”
