Nino Burjanadze: Georgian people should decide the legitimacy of the elections

As a two-time former Vice-President of the OSCE / ODIHR Parliamentary Assembly, I assure you that no international organization decides it as this is up to the Georgian people to decide, ”- Nino Burjanadze, leader of United Georgia – Democratic Movement Party answered the question about the legitimacy of the elections.

According to her, the population of Georgia must decide the legitimacy of the elections.

“Not a single international observer makes and cannot make such a statement, the legitimacy of the elections should be decided by the population of Georgia, the OSCE / ODIHR chairman confirmed this once again at today’s meeting. As a two-time former Vice-President of the OSCE / ODIHR Parliamentary Assembly, I assure you that no international organization decides it as this is up to the Georgian people to decide”, – Burjanadze said.
