Nine Covid-19 infected but mild symptom patients were placed in a field hospital in Dighomi Olympic village.

According to Tamar Gabunia, Deputy Health Minister, the field hospital began to operate last evening. She said the patients would stay at the government-assigned facility no longer than 2-3 days. As soon as their health condition stabilizes, they will continue treatment at home or Covid-hotels.

Deputy Health Minister also reported about immunization performance at shelters. She stressed that vaccination of the socially vulnerable persons accommodated at shelters was ongoing for several weeks. Approximately 100 individuals got their Covid-19 jabs there.
