The President of the National Bank of Georgia, Natia Turnava, held a working meeting with the management of Freedom Holding Corp.

Freedom Holding Corp. is a financial services holding company conducting retail financial brokerage, investment counseling, securities trading, investment banking and underwriting services. Registered in Nevada, USA, its headquarters is located in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

According to the NBG, “Freedom Holding Corp. is keen on expanding its operations in Georgia by offering both banking and broking services. The working discussion focused on Georgia’s attractive investment climate in the banking industry. Representatives of the Kazakh holding were given information on the legal framework and supervisory policies. Natia Turnava spoke extensively about the National Bank of Georgia’s recent reforms aimed at developing local financial markets.”
