NBG Governor meets with People's Bank of China Governor at BIS Conference

National Bank of Georgia (NBG) Governor Natia Turnava met with People’s Bank of China (PBC) Governor Pan Gongsheng on the sidelines of the 24th Annual Conference of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS).

According to the National Bank, the brief business meeting focused on progress regarding specific issues within the framework of the memorandum signed this year between NBG and PBC.

“The memorandum aims to expand bilateral cooperation in monetary policy, financial technologies, payment systems, and securities market development,” the NBG noted.
