National Movement to support Nino Lomjaria’s candidacy on post of Ombudsman

National Movement Party will support the candidacy of Nino Lomjaria on post of Public Defender of Georgia.

Lomjaria was presented by the parliamentary majority. Representatives of National Movement claim that Lomjaria is also the candidate of civil sector and they support this principle of selection of Ombudsman’s candidate.

Nino Lomjaria presented her viewpoints and priorities in the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee on November 28.

Lomjaria previously served as Deputy Head of State Audit Service and Executive Director of non-governmental organization International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED).
