Georgia's European Orbit founder commedns Germany for support of Georgian people's aspirations to join EU 

Nino Lomjaria, former Ombudsman and founder of Georgia’s European Orbit non-governmental organization commends Germany for imposition of additional measures on Georgian officials responsible for crackdown of mass public protests and human rights abuses.

“Thank you, Germany for standing with the people of Georgia, supporting our aspirations to join the European Union, and helping hold perpetrators of human rights abuses accountable,” wrote Nino Lomjaria on the X platform.

The German Foreign Office introduced additional entry bans on officials responsible for the crackdown.

“For nearly 3 months, the people of Georgia have been protesting in favour of a future in the EU & against the course of the Georgian leadership. They continue to face intimidation, arrests & violence. Today, imposed further entry bans on officials responsible for the crackdown,” it said on the X Platform.
