National Movement holds extraordinary session despite lack of quorum
Tbilisi City Council’s oppositional faction National Movement is holding an extraordinary session despite the lack of quorum.
Only 7 opposition MPs and two citizens affected by the collapse of a ceiling in the Varketili subway station are attending the session. No representatives of the majority or City Hall are present at the session.
Marika Datukishvili, member of the National Movement, said they had the right to hold a session, even though there were only 7 deputies, which is not enough for quorum; the National Movement still decided to give the affected citizens the opportunity to talk about their problems.
