National Botanical Garden launches innovative science week

The Georgian National Botanical Garden will host an innovative Science Week aimed at those eager to explore biotechnology and learn about the latest advancements in plant research.

“During the five-day intensive program, participants will engage in activities such as isolating DNA from plant material, conducting microscopic research, exploring the practical use of an arboretum, and applying artificial intelligence to diagnose plant diseases.

Attendees will also gain hands-on experience in the laboratory, discover the latest technological applications, and receive free educational materials. Starting in March, the free program is open to 10th-12th grade students, first-year undergraduates, and young people interested in biology, technology, and environmental protection,” the Botanical Garden administration stated.
