“Media representatives will be allowed to resume work in the Parliament from May 21 in full compliance with the recommendations to prevent the spread of coronavirus,” the press service of the Parliament reported.

According to the press service, journalists will undergo thermal screening when entering the building. Also, wearing face masks and following social distancing rules will be mandatory.

At the same time, the Parliament has designated certain locations for the media and installed the podiums for the interviews at several locations.

Direct admittance of media to the sittings will be temporarily restricted. The live broadcast (streaming) of the plenary, Bureau and committee sittings shall be ensured at the official website of the Parliament: www.parliament.ge (in the event of technical interruption, the video footage will be provided by the Public Relations and Information Department).

The press service added that the Parlament building is disinfected regularly.
