Parliament keeps yellow security level on April 17 amid tensions over Transparency bill

The Georgian parliament will keep the yellow security level on April 17 based on the September 4, 2023, decree of the Parliament Speaker.

Visitors will be restricted from entering the supreme legislative body. Invited persons and accredited journalists of TV stations will be permitted to attend the sittings.

“The imposed measures aim to ensure a peaceful and work environment in the parliament,” the Georgian parliament said.
