The U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan “thanked Georgian government for the pro-active efforts to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus.”
Kelly Degnan in her Facebook video also thanked “all the health care workers, border guards, the police and countless other public servants for their professionalism and diligence in responding to this pandemic.”
The U.S. Ambassador added that “the best way we can thank them is to stay home and stay healthy.”
“These are challenging times, and we are all trying to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe and healthy. We at the U.S. Embassy are particularly grateful for the pro-active efforts of the government of Georgia, including the NCDC the Prime Minister, the President, almost every ministry, and Parliament, doing their best to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus and minimize its impacts,” said Ambassador Kelly Degnan.
