Kakha Kaladze vows to combat hatred and foster kindness as core moral axes among Tbilisi residents
Kakha Kaladze, officially nominated today by Georgian Dream for a third term as Tbilisi mayor, pledged to fight hatred and promote kindness as the core value guiding relationships among the city’s residents.
“We will do everything to defeat hatred and make kindness the moral axes of how Tbilisians relate to one another,” Kaladze stated at the campaign launch event.
He described Tbilisi as a traditionally relationship-driven city and highlighted the new campaign slogan: “Peace for Georgia, More Kindness for Tbilisi.”
“In today’s challenging world, we are proud that Georgia – and our capital – remains an island of peace. That peace gives us the opportunity to focus on bringing more good to our beautiful city,” he said.
Kaladze explained that “kindness” has both material and non-material meanings. On the material front, he outlined priorities including upgraded infrastructure, revitalized districts of Old Tbilisi, expanded green spaces, improved public transport, and new schools, kindergartens, and cultural and sports facilities.
“We will fulfill these promises. Over the next four years, we will create more tangible benefits for the city and its people,” Kaladze vowed.
