Labor Inspection Service monitoring occupational safety standards nationwide amidst high-temperature conditions

The Labour Inspection Service is implementing comprehensive measures to mitigate risks associated with outdoor work during the summer season.

To raise awareness among workers, the inspectors are holding information meetings with employers and employees and giving recommendations on working under high-temperature conditions. The inspectors will then inspect equipment.

The Labor Inspection Service will assess risks in the work process; availability of potable water and appropriate conditions for rest; the use of personal protective equipment; and ensuring employees are properly informed and that preventive measures are implemented.

The monitoring aims to take appropriate precaution measures to create safe labor conditions and prevent fatal accidents.
