Journalist of First Channel Teona Managadze took part in investigative activities at metro "Rustaveli"

Teona Managadze, journalist of Georgian First Channel has been questioned at the scene in connection with the incident which occurred in Rustaveli metro station yesterday.

Investigator and expert-criminalists arrived at the metro station along with eyewitness journalist, in order to conduct investigative activities at the scene.

Teona Managadze provided the law enforcers with detailed information about the incident.

Currently, the victims of the incident are questioned at the police station.

Two young men were physically and verbally assaulted at the Rustaveli subway in Tbilisi yesterday. The journalist of Georgian First Channel witnessed the incident. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the incident.

The investigation is ongoing under the Article 126 (2) and Article 239 (1) of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which pertain to violence and hooliganism on the ground of racial, religious, national or ethnic intolerance. One suspect has been detained.
