Italian Ambassador visits Vani Archaeological Museum

Ambassador of Italy to Georgia Enrico Valvo visited the Vani Archaeological Museum in the Imereti region on Saturday. He examined unique artifacts and talked about cultural cooperation between the two countries.

In July-August, the Vani Archaeological Museum will host an exhibition Life and Death – Glorious Pompey. It will revive the history of the glorious city of ancient Rome, which was destroyed during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.

The Georgian National Museum and Italian Embassy in Georgia organized the exhibition. TBC Bank, Business Technologies University and the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) are the supporters of the exhibition.
