Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze and Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Tea Tsulukiani visited Vani Archeological Museum in Imereti region.
The head of the Georgian government got interested in carried out infrastructure works at the museum and met the employees.
The PM noted that the renovated museum would play a significant role in Georgian cultural identity popularization and cultural tourism development in the region.
A new 4-storey building of the museum was constructed with the financial support of the Georgian government and the World Bank by the Regional Development Ministry and Municipal Development Fund.
The building has a library, lab, café, archive, offices for administrative staff and a parking space.
PM Garibashvili talked to Davit Lortkipanidze, Director of the National Museum about rich cultural material and artifacts kept at the museum.
