Interior Ministry’s Migration Department detains nine foreign nationals
In a crackdown on illegal migration, officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Migration Department have detained nine foreign nationals. The detainees include citizens of Nigeria, Bangladesh, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and India.
Authorities determined that these individuals were residing in the country in violation of requirements established under Georgia’s law “On the Legal Status of Aliens and Stateless Persons.”
