Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs and First Deputy Interior Minister Roland Meskhi held a working meeting with the heads of the Adjara Police Department units in Batumi.

Vakhtang Gomelauri received information from the heads of the Adjara Regional Police Department on the fight against crime and preventive police measures.

The meeting focused on the department’s priorities. Vakhtang Gomelauri stressed the significance of ensuring a decent working environment for police officers and the implemented or planned projects in the region.

The Minister of Internal Affairs gave relevant instructions to the department representatives regarding the work process, including the upcoming summer season, to ensure a safe environment for tourists and local vacationers in the region.

The Minister of Internal Affairs thanked the department employees for their effective work and wished them success in their professional duties.
