Gela Geladze to succeed Vakhtang Gomelauri as Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced that Gela Geladze will assume the role of Minister of Internal Affairs, succeeding Vakhtang Gomelauri.

Gela Geladze, formerly serving as Deputy Head of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG), is set to lead Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Today, Vakhtang Gomelauri tendered his resignation from the position.
