Heroes Square overpass to be closed daily 2–6 AM from June 19 to July 7

Tbilisi City Hall has announced planned research and testing works on the overpass at Heroes Square, during which traffic restrictions will be in place from June 19 to July 7, daily between 02:00 and 06:00.

In the first phase, from June 19 to July 3, every other day, traffic will be restricted on all ramps leading to the Heroes Square overpass. This includes the ramp on the right bank of the Mtkvari River, the ramp connecting Heroes Square to the opposite side of the memorial, and ramps near Queen Tamar Bridge and the zoo.

In the second phase, on the nights of July 5 and 7, traffic will be prohibited on the overpass connecting Merab Kostava Street (near the State Concert Hall) to the Sports Palace and Queen Tamar Avenue.
