Head of Government Administration Meets UNICEF Representative in Georgia
Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of Government Administration, met Isabella Castrogiovanni, Country Representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Georgia.
According to the Press Service of the Government Administration, Levan Zhorzholiani congratulated the new head of the country office on the start of her mission and wished her every success.
The meeting focused on the existing cooperation between the Government of Georgia and UNICEF. The Head of Government Administration reaffirmed Georgia’s readiness, as a member of UNICEF’s Executive Board, to support the implementation of the organization’s global priorities.
Levan Zhorzholiani also highlighted the productive cooperation between UN agencies and the Government of Georgia, noting that it aligns with national priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and contributes to the country’s sustainable development and institutional progress.
The meeting was attended by Zviad Barkaya, Deputy Head of Government Administration.
