Head of Diseases Control Center – Discussions are ongoing about restriction of public transport in big cities

Amiran Gamkrelidze, Head of National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health said that discussions were ongoing about restriction of public transport movement in big cities.

“I can confirm that work of public transport may be restricted in the big cities. Discussions are ongoing about this idea,” Gamkrelidze said.

The Georgian government will announce the decision about tighter restrictions to be introduced in the country on November 26.
