Guram Kashia thanked UEFA for EqualGame Award

Vice-captain of Georgian national football team Guram Kashia thanked the UEFA for EqualGame Award.

Georgian football player received the first ever EqualGame Award.

Under UEFA’s decision, Vice-captain of Georgian national football team Guram Kashia became the first owner of EqualGame award. The award aims to recognise a player who has acted as a role model in promoting diversity, inclusion and accessibility in European football.

UEFA President handed over the Award to the President of the Football Federation of Georgia at the UEFA Champions League group stage draw and gala in Monaco on 30 August.

Georgian football player did not attend the ceremony due to the scheduled match in San Jose.
