Sandro Rakviashvili, a member of the Girchi opposition party, said talks within the opposition touched upon possible escalation in the spring that could deepen the political crisis.
Rakviashvili claimed that Girchi opposed to plotting ‘immoral plans.’ He said that the idea of revolution was born when the opposition refused to enter parliament.
The member of the Girchi party said that a revolutionary scenario resembled the riot of hungry people. “We should not count on driving the country to such a condition,” he said.
According to Sandro Rakviashvili, there should be preconditions for a revolution. However, the opposition protests did not represent a rally of angry people.
“People attended the protests without emotions. There was no indication that the revolution was approaching,” Rakviashvili said.
