Georgia's COVID-19-related death toll increases to 52

Two patients have died of COVID-19 in Georgia today, increasing the death toll to 52, the data has been updated on the government-run special website stopcov.ge.

In addition, 578 new cases of coronavirus reported today, bringing the total number of infected people to 8 696.

375 patients recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cured persons up to 4 619​.

41 people are brought from abroad for medical treatment. 1 100 persons remain at COVID-19 hotels.

Currently, 5 392 people are under quarantine and 836 more under medical observation.
