Georgian PM calls on entrepreneurs and Georgian companies to actively engage in the value-added tax (VAT) return process

Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze calls on entrepreneurs and Georgian companies to actively engage in the value-added tax (VAT) return process.

We have started taking a very important step since January 1st 2018, in regards to the very painful topic, which is a system of value-added tax (VAT) return. Today, almost 280 million GEL has returned to the private sector.

According to Mamuka Bakhtadze,  government`s goal is to return up to half a billion GEL to Georgian companies this year.

I would like to call on entrepreneurs and Georgian companies to apply for more applications. Our goal is to return up to half a billion GEL to Georgian companies this year. This process is very comfortable, simple and very friendly.

I understand that the past experience in this part is hard, but we must jointly establish modern, new, fair game rules.

I call on Georgian business to get involved in the process as much as possible – Georgian PM stated.
