Georgian Patriarchate expresses readiness to meet recommendations regarding COVID-19
The Patriarchate of Georgia says it’s ready to meet recommendations regarding the coronavirus, Press Service of the Patriarchate reports.
As Press Service said floors, chairs, door handles in the churches will be disinfected.
“There is an importing company that supplies disinfectants. under the Patriarchate’s instructions, this company expressed its readiness to allocate the required amount of disinfectant in order to clean the floors, chairs, door handles in the churches. As for the icons and other sanctuaries, they are cleaned daily with rose water that has alcohol in it. We are ready to take into consideration recommendations regarding the novel virus,” Georgian Patriarchate said.
