Catholics Patriarch of Georgia Ilia II congratulated Queen Elizabeth II on Sunday on her Platinum Jubilee.

Below is a full message:

“On behalf of the church of Georgia, and personally, on my behalf, I cordially congratulate you on the 70th anniversary of your accession to the throne of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Today, you, Your Majesty, are the most distinguished Monarch and the most powerful and influential Queen.

Your incumbency is an entire epoch, which strengthened your country over the years, particularly in difficult times, and played an indelible part in the history of your kingdom.

I always remember my meeting with you, with deep respect, and the meaningful conversation we had.

I pray to God that He might grant you many more years of life and further success to your royal family,” the Catholics Patriarch stated.
