Georgian delegation attends International Maritime Forum in Romania
The Georgian delegation participated in the International Maritime Forum held in Constanta, Romania. According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the event was organized by the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and brought together more than 70 companies and organizations from 11 countries.
Georgia was represented by the Maritime Transport Agency, the Maritime Academy, and several private sector companies.
Ambassador of Georgia, Tamar Beruchashvili, delivered a speech at the forum’s opening ceremony, outlining the Georgian government’s vision and priorities for the development of the Black Sea Corridor.
The Ambassador emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the ports of Georgia and Romania within the framework of the two countries’ strategic partnership. She highlighted the need to enhance maritime traffic across the Black Sea as a vital component of connectivity between Europe and Asia.
