Georgia to receive USD 67 million-worth grant from US

Georgia will sign a grant agreement with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for Georgia’s Sustainable Development.

The signing ceremony will take place at the Governmental Administration. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan will open the ceremony.

Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili and Mission Director of USAID/Georgia Peter Wiebler will ink the document.

Based on the agreement, the USAID will allocate USD 67 million-worth grant to Georgia with the prospect to increase the sum up to USD 330 million.
