Georgia reports 2 981 coronavirus cases, 2 001 recoveries, 31 deaths

Georgia reported  2 981 coronavirus cases, 31 deaths, and 2 001 recoveries on Thursday, according to the official figures on stopcov.ge.

Georgian capital Tbilisi reported the highest number of 1 282 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 489 cases, and the Adjara region with 228 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 201 368, among them  169 282 people recovered and 1 953 died.

There are 471 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6 758 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 2 247 asymptomatic and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities, the official figures show.
