Georgia has reported 741 coronavirus cases, 945 recoveries, and 18 deaths on Thursday, the
official figures show.
31 350 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 17 359 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 13 991 were PCR tests.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 414 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 82 cases and the Kvemo Kartli region with 50 cases.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 356 920, among them, 342 720 people recovered and 5 114 died.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 2,36%, while 2,49% in the past 14 days.
There are 42 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 2 926 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 602 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
As of today, 221 156 people got the coronavirus vaccine.
