A Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Exchange of Governmental Experience has been signed between the Governments of Georgia and the United Arab Emirates.
According to the Georgian government administration, Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of the Georgian Government Administration, and Mariam Al Hamad, Minister of State and Secretary General of the Cabinet of Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, signed the document. He highlighted that the memorandum will foster mutual sharing of successful experiences, enhance governance, and promote the adoption of innovative practices.
“The memorandum facilitates the exchange of expertise between our governments in vital areas such as strategic planning and the implementation of strategic documents. We are also currently working on a project to introduce an electronic monitoring system aimed at achieving strategic objectives,” stated Levan Zhorzholiani.
The signing ceremony took place in Dubai, during the World Government Summit, which the Georgian delegation, led by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, is attending.
