FM Botchorishvili: Georgia's position at UN aligns fully with its support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence
Georgia’s position at the UN aligns fully with its support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence, stated Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili in Geneva, who is participating in the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council.
“Georgia co-sponsored the resolution adopted at the UN General Assembly on Ukraine. We strongly support Ukraine’s territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence—principles that are vital to us and must be upheld,” Botchorishvili emphasized.
She reiterated that Georgia’s stance at the UN consistently reflects its commitment to supporting Ukraine.
“We have consistently emphasized the need to seek peaceful solutions to this conflict. Advancing peace is crucial, and we support the U.S. initiative aimed at achieving this goal. Our decisions, voiced and recorded within the UN framework, reflect this commitment,” the Minister added.
