FM: Accessibility to vaccination program to ease difficult conditions of locals living in occupied regions
Covid-19 vaccines would be accessible for the population residing across the occupied Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions. David Zalkaliani, Foreign Minister, announced this decision of the Georgian government on a social network.
According to FM, accessibility to the national vaccination program would alleviate severe conditions for locals living in the occupied regions.
David Zalkaliani said that the pandemic added a burden to the difficult humanitarian situation in the occupied Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions.
“Representatives of the medical sphere and target age groups will have the opportunity to receive jabs on the territory controlled by the central Georgian government,” FM said.
Foreign Minister added that the decision was another proof that caring about locals residing across the occupied territories and their involvement in different projects and programs was crucial for the Georgian government.
