First Vice Speaker views Kulevi's sanctioning as peak of injustice, objectively opposed by Hungary, Slovakia

“Sanctioning should not be the measure used against the country, the 20% of whose territory is occupied. Georgia has not taken any step that contradicts the political or strategic interests of the European Union or the United States,” said Gia Volski, First Vice Speaker.

According to Volski, Georgia is trying to save the country.

“The issue of sanctioning Kulevi Oil Terminal and other sanctions represents the peak of injustice, which Hungary and Slovakia objectively opposed. The statements by German and British Ambassadors signal feasible threats if we do not demonstrate strength and defend national interests,” he said.
