First stage of rehabilitation works carried out at Ieli Church

The first stage of rehabilitation works was carried out at Ieli Church, Mestia Municipality of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region – National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia reports.

The Agency is carrying out reconstruction works in other villages of the municipality as well. About 80 Svanuri Towers and Machubis were rehabilitated during the last 4 years.
