First Channel ready to allocate airtime to all presidential candidates

A meeting with representatives of all 25 candidates running in the 2018 presidential elections was held at the initiative of First Channel at Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC).

At the decision of First Channel, 10-minute-long airtime will be allocated to all the 25 presidential candidates. The candidates will be able to present their programs to voters in the main news bulletin of “Moambe” starting September 26 till October 25.

Also, debates will be held between 9 qualified and 16 non-qualified subjects. The first TV debates will take place among non-qualified candidates. First Channel will ensure technical issues of the debates.
