The epicenter of the earthquake, which hit Georgia at 17:18 local time today, was 5 kilometres away from the Georgian state border.

According to the Seismic Monitoring National Center, the magnitude of the quake was 4.1 (ML).

Earlier the Center reported that the epicenter of the minor earthquake was Keda settlement of Adjara region.
